Description	Address Base provides a current view of an address including Royal Mail postcodes and provides its precise X,Y coordinate location. It contains approximately 28 million addresses, both commercial and residential, matched to a UPRN, and provides an address-type classification (e.g. commercial, residential, etc.)

Description	AddressBase Premium provides the most detailed view of an address and its lifecycle. It contains local authority, Ordnance Survey and Royal Mail addresses. The product is based around the UPRN, with current (approved) addresses; and alternative addresses for current properties (reflecting the changes in address and the address life cycle); provisional properties / addresses (proposed planning developments) and historic information for properties (including historic alternative addresses) where available. Cross references to the OS MasterMap TOID’s are also included.

Description	Pointer is the address database for Northern Ireland and is maintained by Land & Property Services (LPS), with input from local councils and Royal Mail. Key features: The definitive spatial address database for Northern Ireland Full Northern Ireland coverage Locations assigned Irish Grid coordinates Contains information on multiple occupancy and building use Full incorporation of townland names Extension file containing ward names and parliamentary constituency information Each building is assigned a UPRN and XY cords.

Description	GeoDirectory is Ireland’s register of addresses matched precisely to their geographical locations. GeoDirectory contains addresses for the Republic of Ireland only. Each address is given Irish Grid and ITM coordinates, along with a small area, townland, building ID, etc. GeoDirectory data can be supplied with Eircodes.

Description	Eircode, unique to every address, is Ireland’s national postcode system. Unlike other countries where postcodes define a cluster or group of addresses, a unique Eircode is assigned to each residential and business address. It contains all 2.2 million business and residential addresses in Ireland. It consists of: Routing key (e.g. A65) which consists of three characters and defines a principal post town span of delivery. Unique Identifier is unique to an address and distinguishes one address from another.
